OnePlus unveils OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R and OnePlus Buds 3 at ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ launch event

New Delhi, January 23 2024 – Leading technology brand OnePlus announced today the OnePlus 12 Series, its newest flagship phones which have been a decade in the making, as well OnePlus Buds 3, the third generation of its flagship wireless audio products. OnePlus unveiled the devices, as well as teasing a future OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition, in front of thousands of OnePlus fans at its ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ launch event in New Delhi.

The OnePlus 12 Series, made up of OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, has been developed to address an industry-wide challenge in balancing high performance with high power consumption, effective heat dissipation and longevity. The two devices are designed to prove that a smartphone doesn't need to be "Plus" "Pro" or "Ultra” to provide the best hardware specs and software experience. Instead, the dual flagship OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R each have their own unique attributes that give users the choice to pick what's important for them on their next smartphone.

At the heart of the OnePlus 12 is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, an ultra-intelligent chip promising top-tier performance and power efficiency with up to 30% improved CPU performance and a 25% enhancement in GPU performance. Empowered by the proprietary Trinity Engine and equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 ROM, the OnePlus 12 can keep applications readily available in the background for 72 hours.
